Krista Diamond from Vegas Eater knows her vegan and vegetarian food. She's got a great list of her top 20 off-strip restaurants, complete with mouthwatering photographs here. I've combed through her list and have tasted every restaurtant one-by-one. I can condense her picks to a top seven list.

Without further ado, here is a list of seven great vegan and vegetarian restaurants for the Las Vegas local. All of these hot spots are off the highly touristed Las Vegas Blvd, and likely to be in your local neighborhood.

1. Chef Kenny’s Asian Vegan Restaurant

A popular Chinatown dining choice among vegans and meat-eaters alike, Chef Kenny’s Asian Vegan Restaurant is known for vegan sushi rolls that rival versions made with fish. There’s also vegan Mongolian beef and vegan curry duck plus an array of bean curd dishes, veggie soups, and even vegan ginger soy Chilean sea bass.

2. Cafe No Fur

5115 Spring Mountain Rd #225
Las Vegas, NV 89146

This intimate Chinatown cafe offers plant-based comfort food including burgers, cheesesteaks, chicken fingers, and corn dogs. Cafe No Fur also has a breakfast menu with vegan breakfast sandwiches and loco moco made with Impossible meat.

3. Veggie House Vegetarian Restaurant

5115 Spring Mountain Rd Ste 203

Established n 2012, this vegetarian and vegan Chinese restaurant imitates the taste and texture of meat using pressed tofu. Plant-based diners craving Chinese food favorites will be satisfied with sumptuous plates of vegan General Tso’s chicken and spicy crispy beef plus vegan cheesecake for dessert.

4. NoButcher

3565 S Rainbow Blvd

Locals NoButcher launched the first 100 percent plant-based version of a traditional deli. Patrons can order vegan meat and cheese alternatives to go, or eat the house-created sandwiches, sides, and salads, available in combo deals. Choices include a pulled NoPork sandwich with barbecue sauce and maple mustard coleslaw, the Aloha NoRib served on a ciabatta roll, Mediterranean roasted vegetables, and their version of an Italian cold cut sandwich prepared with NoTurkey and NoPepperoni.

5. Cinnaholic

Cinnaholic customers choose their preferred frosting and toppings before the cinnamon rolls are individually prepared at this vegan bakery with four Las Vegas locations. You won't find a full meal here, unless eating a box full of cinnamon rolls is your desire, but this restaruant will blow your socks off!

6. Tacotarian

Boasting 14 different vegan tacos, this Rhodes Ranch restaurant is home to plant-based Mexican food in a lively setting. Taco selections include plantain con mole, bean and cheese, mushroom asada, and pineapple with hibiscus. Tacotarian also offers enchiladas, burritos, and a brunch menu that includes chilaquiles and breakfast tacos. Also in the Arts District.

7. Govinda’s Vegan Restaurant

Las Vegas, NV 89123
A true hidden gem tucked away inside the Radha Govinda Hare Krishna Temple, Govinda’s Vegan Restaurant is an all-you-can-eat buffet. For a $9.95 donation, diners can load up on dhal soup, curry with tofu and beans, chutney, pasta salad, and semolina pudding for dessert. The menu is subject to change.
