Acadia National Park is a giant when it comes to recreation areas that showcase incredible natural beauty. It spreads along the Atlantic coast, primarily on Maine’s Mount Desert Island. This chunk of nature includes snowcapped peaks, rocky beaches, and woodland.
With an endless horizon to explore, hiking trails are a favorite in Acadia National Park. They offer captivating views as you embrace nature at its best. While many enthusiasts pick relatively difficult trails to feed their spirit of adventure, other trails are easier to take on.
These are for when you are in the mood to have a fun and relaxing hike against the vast horizon of nature. Here is a list of the best three easy yet fascinating trails in Acadia National Park:
Ocean Path Trail
As the name suggests, this trail runs along Acadia’s beautiful coastline. It is arguably the most scenic and dreamy hike Acadia has to offer. It begins from Sand Beach and takes you to the beautiful pink granite formations along the coastline. In 2.2 miles, it ends at Otter Point.
Cadillac Summit Loop Trail
This trail holds one of the finest spots in the United States that flaunts the early morning sun in all its glory. It loops around the summit of Cadillac Mountain—the highest peak on Mount Desert Island.
Ship Harbor Trail
This trail comes with another short and easy one, Wonderland Trail. Both of these are fun strolls towards the quieter side of Mount Desert Island. You can choose to take on one or both trails at a time. They offer hypnotic sceneries and lead to magnificent spots along the shoreline.
