Love and Hip Hop Reality show maven Shay Johnson, has teamed up with her Brothers Emjay Johnson and Dr. Joe Johnson to bring a unique education meets entertainment traveling panel discussion to students. Named “The Johnson Take Over,” the trio travels to schools and youth organizations across the nation with an entertaining high energy, message of life lessons and career advice.
Recently The Johnson Take Over visited an enthusiastic audience of students at Turner Tech High School in Miami, Florida.
“This is the second time the Johnson Family has brought their entertaining and inspiring message to our students,” said Principal Uwezo Frazier. We have speakers at the school every month, but as The Johnson Take Over they take it to another level,” and the student response is great.”

The Johnson Take Over is a Non Profit Organization created with Shay Johnson’s two brothers Dr. Joe Johnson and Emjay Johnson. It focuses on the development of individuals and families to create career opportunities, prepare for life, and college goals. The Johnson Take Over also taps into the importance of health, wellness, and how to live a healthier lifestyle. Due to the recent scare Shay Johnson experienced with fibroids, she became the spokesperson for “The Healthy Hand,” a natural herbs company based around health and wellness but focused on natural products to relieve fibroids symptoms.
