Authorities identified 57-year-old Griselda Castellanos who died in Pasadena single-car crash (Pasadena, CA)

Authorities identified 57-year-old Griselda Castellanos, a resident of Duarte, who lost her life when the car she was driving went off the side of a road and down an embankment near the Rose Bowl last week.

Griselda Castellanos was killed in the single-car crash, which happened just after 9 a.m. Wednesday along a narrow private road in the 1000 block of Paso Alto Road, as per Pasadena police officials and Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner records.

She was at the wheel of a car that veered off the side of the road and went down an embankment and came to a stop flipped over in the 1000 block of Glen Oaks Boulevard, police Lt. Sean Dawkins said at the time.

Paramedics declared Castellanos deceased at the scene. An autopsy concluded that she died from “blunt trauma,” but a manner of death was termed as “undetermined” in coroner’s records.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
