Inspired Art is held by America SCORES Cleveland every two years to celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of local artists and poet-athletes. This year, the event will be held from June 1st to June 4th, with over 50 talents and artists bringing their original works to life.
The students from 3rd - 8th grade also take part in the event by creating poetry or poem pieces. Poem themes range from nature and entertainment to social justice and the concept of identity. The artists select a poem that speaks to them and then create a piece of artwork inspired by that poem using their chosen medium.
The event will put all the fantastic artwork on bidding in a silent auction that will go live from June 1st to June 4th at 10.00 pm.
Almost all of the artwork can be shipped in the continental US. Items that cannot be shipped will be marked accordingly on the bidding platform.
SCORES will use the collected funds will be used to support their free programs for Cleveland youth.
A livestream program will also be held on June 4th to wrap up the entire event. Viewers can access the livestream program for free through various platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and their fundraising platform, GiveSmart.
To celebrate Cleveland artisans and local businesses, Inspired Art is also offering a special gift box filled with Cleveland-themed items for a donation of $75.
During the live event on June 4th at 7:00 pm, each box will come with perfect party materials to enjoy.
