Three-alarm warehouse fire in Huntington Park

Shortly before 9 pm on Monday a warehouse fire was reported at Salt Lake Ave and Gage Ave in Huntington Park.

Citizen app user video showed a large amount of smoke in the area and emergency units on the scene. A heavy presence of emergency vehicles arrived on the scene minutes later.

Firefighters at the scene confirm heavy smoke and fire showing.

Firefighters called a second-alarm fire, asking for back-up units as intense flames and smoke burned against the night sky.

Another Citizen app user showed large amounts of smoke and flames and firefighters on the scene with flames continuing to grow larger.

By 9:07 pm, firefighters called a third alarm, requesting back-up units again.

Fifteen minutes later, firefighters reported a partial collapse on one side of the location.

Firefighters reported four divisions were battling the large warehouse fire and approximated that operations would last two to three hours.

This incident is ongoing as of 10:16 pm PST.
