Dk's is the place to go to when you're hungover or desperately trying to get rid of one. For New Years 2020 and 2021, this was the place I went to and I most definitely ordered a dozen.
My favorites are the following: Bavarian creme donut (of course), chocolate bar (a classic), chocolate raised donut, and what I really come here for are their cronuts. A half donut and half croissant hybrid, these are phenomenal. Dk's double-decker o nut with Nutella is out of this world.
They also have a double-decker with maple bacon, and it's the perfect savory treat.
If you're not a fan of donuts, although they're amazing, try their pastries! They have apple fritters, cake holes, cinnamon rolls, and more.
Located at the corner of 16th & Santa Monica, the shop was started by Lee & Kong, two Khmer refugees who immigrated to America in search of a new life and who believed in the American dream.
