Flake is one of the most well-known spots in Venice. Not only does it serve incredible breakfast food, but it's hip and cheap for the high quality it serves.

I love coming to Flake for a variety of different reasons, but let's talk about my favorite ones starting with the turkey sausage burrito.
This isn't only the best breakfast burrito you'll ever have, but it's also the best hangover burrito. Try one of these after a long night of partying and you'll be good as new.
They keep it simple with the ingredients, it's turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, American cheese and a side of homemade tomatillo salsa. If you're not a fan of turkey sausage try their bacon burrito, with scrambled eggs, American cheese, and a side of homemade tomatillo salsa.
If you're not into meat, they also make a veggie sausage burrito with scrambled eggs, American cheese, and a side of homemade tomatillo salsa.
Next up, breakfast sandwiches. I'm slowly making my way down the list but The Rad Muffin is a must-try with scrambled eggs, Black Forest ham, and American cheese on a toasted English muffin with a secret sauce.
Flake is also known for their Croissan-wich Jones which is scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and Cheddar Cheese on a toasted croissant and it's beyond finger-licking good.
When I'm in the mood for something sweet I go for their Sambazon acai bowl, it's delicious and incredibly healthy made with frozen acai, organic hemp granola, sliced bananas, and I always ask for berries and almond butter. The healthy fats keep you fuller longer and it's absolutely delicious.
Flake is located on rose and only a few short blocks from Venice beach, it's the perfect place to grab some brunch from and head for a swim.
