Living on the Upper East Side of New York City has been so incredible. The neighborhood is just amazing and there is so much right here. I mean this is probably true of pretty much every neighborhood in New York City, but the Upper East Side will always be one of my favorites! The Upper East side is definitely a little more low-key than some neighborhoods. There’s lots of restaurants, and smaller shops that just make it feel a little less crazy and a little smaller than the huge city it actually is.

Since I’ve been living in the Upper East Side for a few weeks now, I have explored and found some restaurants that just look amazing! I have a list that is like 2 pages long now of restaurants that I just can't wait to try out! One of which was the Five Mile Stone located on the corner of 85th St and 2nd Ave. This restaurant immediately looked so cool to me because it looks super nice from the outside - they’ve got lots of outdoor seating which is perfect for the summer. And they’ve got a super cool interior as well as upper level outdoor balcony seating - which I just love!

So I had walked past this place a ton of times and I just couldn’t wait to try it out. It was always packed and full of people who looked like they were having a great time. So I finally had to try it out for myself. A couple of my friends came to visit me in the city for the weekend, so I decided to take them here for Sunday brunch and let me tell you it was INCREDIBLE!

Like I said we went there for brunch, which was just delicious. They were also serving their lunch and dinner menu, so the options were just endless! While we were there we tried the chicken nachos, eggs benedict, banana pancakes, and bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Honestly we all loved our meals, and the chicken nachos (which we split for an appetizer were so, so good!). They also have a ton of refreshing summery cocktails which were all delicious!

Overall my friends and I had a great experience at the Five Mile Stone. I finally got to be one of the people sitting outside of this restaurant, just enjoying life and having a great time - just like I always used to see when I walked past! I have to say if you are in the Upper East Side the Five Mile Stone is well worth a visit for brunch, lunch, or dinner (even just drinks and appetizers) - trust me you won’t be disappointed! #hiddengems
