Cleveland Metropark has just released a new feature on its mobile app just in time for Memorial Day weekend. It allows the users to earn over two dozens of adventure badges by taking on its exploration challenges, including the Memorial Day Weekend Challenge.

Kelly Manderfield, Cleveland Metroparks Chief Marketing Officer, commented, “The Cleveland Metroparks mobile app not only helps you find your path but it’s also a way to challenge yourself to take on new adventures across the Emerald Necklace. Starting today, you can now create your own account, save your favorite trails and locations, and take on challenges to earn adventure badges.”

By creating an account, users can start their journey and check-in at the locations around the Park’s District, including park reservations and other destinations such as the brand-new Noshery at Huntington Reservation. They can also share their remarkable adventures on social media or save their favorite events, trails, and attractions.

The new feature also came with access to the latest maps of all 18 park reservations to help users find and navigate through the trails, attractions, and hidden gems of the park. It also offers users information on the park’s upcoming events, golf courses, restaurants, retail locations and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo as well.

The free app is originally a part of the park’s Find Your Path campaign, which aims to encourage people to explore and discover the Park District, which stretches over more than 24,000 acres. It was launched in April 2021, with more than 22,000 downloads.Get your adventure started across the Cleveland Metroparks at clevelandmetroparks.com/app.
