While we have all been spending a lot of time this past year at home, so have our pups. Our dogs have gotten so used to us being around, that leaving them at home is painful for them. So, why not take them with you? As spring has arrived, that is what many in the Columbia, South Carolina region are doing just that now. They are dining with dogs in Columbia!

Here are a few of the top places that will cater to you and your dog when dining out with your pups this spring and when the dog days of summer arrive.

Dining with Dogs at PublicoAlexis Stritt

The #1 place to dine with your dog in Columbia is Publico Kitchen and Tap. Just one look at the lovely outdoor oasis and you can see it is perfect for treats for your favorite furry friend. They even have their own hashtag for your experience -  #TreatYoPup!

This fresh, funk, and hip place will be fun for all, but dogs will especially enjoy the experience. Ask for bartender/server Alexis, who is a huge dog lover and see the treatment your pup will receive. Just take a look at their Puppy Plate menu and you can automatically see the authentic love they have for your pup.

Jake’s on Devine

Another good choice to spend some quality time with your dog is Jake’s on Devine. It is definitely a good place to go have a beer and hang with friends both 2-legged and 4-legged freinds with fur or without on the back deck. They offer #YappyHour with drink specials.

Hunter-Gatherer Brewery at the Hanger

The menu features various bar snacks and handcrafted pizzas, in addition to their brews on tap, and also specialty cocktails. They have a large outdoor area that is extremely good for giving your dogs a brisk walk. Also you can watch the planes take off from their rooftop sitting area.
