Dispute over parking spot lands Bronx man in hospital, NYPD searching for attackers

(THE BRONX, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department is looking to identify the individuals responsible for assaulting a man during an altercation over a parking spot in the Bronx on Saturday, May 22, according to PIX 11.

The incident took place near Chatterton and Olmstead avenues at around 1 a.m.

According to police sources, a 22-year-old, identified as an off-duty FDNY EMT, was involved in a verbal dispute with two others over a parking space, the NYPD said.

The argument developed into a physical fight as one of the suspects hit the victim several times, authorities said.

The victim escaped on foot and was transported to a local hospital with a broken jaw and eye socket, per officials.

Authorities released images and surveillance footage of the suspects while the incident unfolded.
