Atlanta Botanical Garden to present Show for Seedlings: Movin' & Groovin' with Gail Burnett

Atlanta Botanical Garden will hold an interactive children’s event series called Show for Seedlings every Friday from June 4 to October 2021 at 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. It is a variety of live performances by some of Atlanta’s best storytellers, puppeteers, musicians, and magicians.

Show for Seedlings: Movin’ & Groovin’ will feature original music and dance presented by the interactive storyteller Gail Burnett on its opening day. Burnett is a Georgia Teaching Artist by the Georgia Council for the Arts, recognized for her works on children’s music education and entertainment.

The show is free for the garden’s members and non-members with the garden’s ticket admission. No reservations are required, but attendants are limited due to social distancing protocol.

Atlanta Botanical Garden is located at 134 Piedmont Ave NE. Situated in the heart of Atlanta, the 30-acres greenery area has various plant collections and exhibitions regularly held by the management. Its main attractions are the Children’s Garden, the Storza Woods and its Canopy Walk, and the Skyline Garden. The garden aims to “develop and maintain plant collections for the purposes of display, education, conservation, research and enjoyment.”
