The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will be holding an event named the Centennial Soiree Series to celebrate its 100 years of discovery. It is a four-event series featuring dinner, wine pairings, and interesting conversations with the museum's experts on various science topics.

The museum will hold the first of the series of events on June 18, 2021, with the theme of Astronomy: The Science of Stars. The second event will follow on September 24, 2021, with the topic of Biodiversity: An Array of Taste. It will then returns not long after the new year on January 21, 2022, with the title Expeditions: Decades of Discovery. The series will eventually end on April 29, 2022, with the topic of Human Health: Celebrating Food, Flavor, and Nutrition.

Every event will feature a special four-course dinner, specifically designed and prepared by Aaron Coon, executive chef of Zack Bruell Events, and wine pairings developed by wine expert Greg Miller, DipWSET. The menus are adjustable to accommodate the guests' food allergies and dietary restrictions.

In its first event, the museum will also celebrate the summer solstice. The guests are allowed to explore astronomy while enjoying the dinner in the museum's newly redesigned courtyard. The guests will have the chance to experience live planetarium shows and stargazing in the observatory if the weather permits. The speakers are several of the museum's astronomy experts, namely Jason Davis, Peter Hedman, and Nick Anderson.

The ticket price for each separate event is $150 per guest, while the fee for the full four-dinner series until 2022 is $540. The events will run from 6:30 PM to 10 PM at the museum, including live music and opportunities to view the museums' exhibits. The seating will be limited to 50 guests, and the event will be mostly held outdoor.
