Below are some of the BEST desserts in Rochester, NY and the best part is that these extraordinary dessert places are local. Not only will you be indulging in a delicious treat, you will also be doing your good deed by supporting local Rochester businesses.

Scratch Bakeshop - located on Russell St in Rochester, you can count on everything being from scratch! Scratch Bakeshop uses quality ingredients and work with so much passion, it shows! My favorite dessert that I have tried at Scratch Bakeshop are French Macarons! These great cookies are light and airy meringue cookies filled with all different kinds of buttercream.

Jenn's Cookie Creations - located in Chili has incredible looking cookies that are super soft and definitely not dry. Jenn and her team are incredibly talented when it comes to decorating cookies, you will not be disappointed. What I love about Jenn's Cookie Creations is the fact that you can pay online, making it very COVID friendly.

Kiss Me Cookies - in Webster NY is the best chocolate chip cookie place in town. Their cookie recipe is unique and I have never met anyone that hasn't loved their cookies. They have many varieties including Red Velvet cookies, Hot Cocoa cookies, Mint Chip cookies, Peanut Butter, and so much more. They cookies are super soft and rich- you'll want to make sure you have cold milk on hand. If I had to pick one to be my favorite, it would have to be Funfetti!

Rubino's Italian Markets - Italians know their food and that includes desserts. While Rubino's in Irondequoit is greatly known for their out of this world subs, they're not messing around when it comes to dessert either. If you want to feel like you're eating dessert in Italy, just go to Rubino's in Irondequoit. They have classic European desserts such as Eclairs, Italian Cookies (tea cookies, layer cookies, cherry almond cookies), and... drum roll please.... cannolis. Not just any cannolis. They have a list of 11 different cannoli flavors, one of which includes pistachio cannolis. My favorite cannoli at Rubino's is their pistachio cannoli!
