Summer is practically here and you guys I am so ready for it! One of my favorite things to do in the summertime (well really all year long) is to go on tours and tastings at breweries! I know New York City has many cool breweries that are definitely worth a visit, and honestly the summer is the perfect time to go out with your friends and explore some new breweries!
Here are some of my favorite breweries in the city:
Brooklyn Brewery
This Brooklyn based brewery creates one of my all time favorite beers (the Brooklyn Lager). They were founded in 1988 when they made their first batch of said Lager. They have a wide selection of beer from classics and old time favorites to new and bold experimental styles!
Other Half Brewery
Other Half Brewery is another Brooklyn based brewery that was founded in 2014. They are known for their incredible IPAs and their collaborations with other NYC breweries!
Evil Twin Brewing
Next up is Evil Twin Brewing which is located in Queens, and it was founded in 2016. They experiment with new flavors and create classic styles of beer! Definitely worth a trip out to Queens for!
Finback Brewery
And one more Queens based brewery is Finback Brewery. They were founded in 2011, and specialize in creating fun and exciting beer. They want to create beers that are unique and a fun experience to drink. They are all about the experience, so spending an afternoon in their taproom would be so much fun!
Circa Brewing Co.
And headed back into Brooklyn (where honestly I think some of the best breweries are) is Circa Brewing Co. they have a wide variety of styles of beer. And in addition to having a tap room they have a hand crafted cocktail lounge, perfect for parties with members who don’t love beer but still want to have a good time!
Torch & Crown
And our last brewery is located in Soho, and that is Torch & Crown. They were established in 2016, and their mission is to create beer that is just as vibrant and unique as the city itself!
