Cleveland’s most anticipated fan favorite weekly event, Walnut Wednesday, has announced its return after one year of absence and is ready to invite fans to enjoy the summer food trucks. Organized by Downtown Cleveland Alliance, the event will run every Wednesday for three months, from June 2 to September 1.

Cleveland’s biggest food truck event will return and take place in Downtown’s urban green spaces at the Perk Plaza at Chester Commons. Walnut Wednesday is open for all workers and residents to enjoy delicious food and drinks with friends and co-workers at the food trucks. Not only that, the event will brighten the Downtown’s atmosphere with live music entertainment every Wednesday night.

Walnut Wednesday will present live musical performances by Brent Kirby. He is one of Cleveland’s most hardworking and talented musicians which some of his accomplishments have proved him as the “Best Singer,” “Best Make Vocal,” and “Best Musician” in the Cleveland Scene.

Kirby plays both as a solo and a vocalist in a band called His Luck. When he is not playing music, he writes tunes and fronts the Jack Forsa, who has achieved the “Best Rock Band” title in the 2007 and 2009 Cleveland Scene. This lineup is another reason not to miss out on Walnut Wednesday.

Walnut Wednesday has so far revealed the lineup track for its opening day on June 2, 2021. The tracks include Wrap It Up, Wild Spork FoodTruck, Manna Truck Cle, Smooth Rider Smoothies, Kona Ice Strongsville, and The Food Depot.
