Encino, California is having a bit of a renaissance in Los Angeles. The neighborhood resides in the central portion of the southern San Fernando Valley, and it's a pocket of real estate where many celebrities call home. It's also a hot spot as a filming location if you've been watching Netflix's Cobra Kai or if you're a fan of The Forty-Year-Old Virgin — Ventura Boulevard in that area should look familiar to you.

One of the big pluses to Encino real estate is that property lots are considered spacious compared to other neighborhoods in the Los Angeles area — that means more bang for your buck. It's why celebrities are now flocking to the Valley to scoop up more square footage with a big backyard, which is always a bonus when it comes to Southern California living. It's no longer the sleepy suburb hidden behind its glamorous sister neighborhoods of Studio City and Sherman Oaks.

Find out who in Hollywood is currently calling Encino home.

Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani

When not calling Oklahoma home, this engaged couple dropped $13.2 million on a 13,000 square-foot estate on a 1.6-acre lot in May 2020. The home has everything two music stars would need, including a modern Atmos home theater, a huge yard complete with an oversized swimming pool, spa and cabana. The ultra-private home offers plenty of space for Stefani's three sons Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 7, from her first marriage to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale to run around.

Kelly Clarkson

If you're looking to move to Encino, then maybe you want to take a look at Kelly Clarkson's gorgeous home because it's currently on the market for $8.9 million (it was originally listed for $9.995 million). The home, and an adjacent guest house, include eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in over 10,000 square feet. The contemporary farmhouse with exposed beams has plenty of natural light and a chef's kitchen that would be a dream to conjure up delicious recipes in. The backyard boasts an L-shaped pool, spa and plenty of amenities in the outdoor living area, including a pizza oven and fire pit.

Jenna Dewan & Steve Kazee

If you're thinking the new-build upscale farmhouse is a thing here in Encino, you would be correct. Jenna Dewan, a judge on the upcoming 2022 show Come Dance with Me, bought a $4.7 million home with fiancé Steve Kazee in March. The home has 7,200 square feet up on over half an acre up in the hills of a luxurious neighborhood. While there are four spacious bedrooms, we are salivating over the walk-in closet that's perfect for any fashionista, the upscale media room and the beautiful views from the backyard.

Meghan Trainor & Daryl Sabara

We love a pop star who isn't following the architectural trends and scopes out a place that perfectly fits her growing family. Meghan Trainor and her husband, actor Daryl Sabara spent $6.6 million on their Encino mansion — and they are neighbors with Dewan. (We want to go to that block party!) The property sits on 1.1 acres has 9,936 square feet with six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, but also has glamorous (and colorful) LED track lighting and a recording studio, an attractive draw for the singer who can work from home while raising three-month-old son Riley. The formal home also has a state-of-the-art security system and hidden behind 10-foot gates and tall hedges, thanks to former owner and rapper TMG Fresh.
