My wife is a serious fan of Hangari Kalguksu’s delicious Korean cuisines, and so am I. Since the pandemic, we only had a chance to order their food once via delivery, but last weekend we finally had our first dine-in experience at Hangari Kalgulksu since the pandemic arrived
First things first, the safety protocols that the outdoor dining had exceeded our expectations. We were seated outside, and plastic dividers were separating each table. Moreover, part of their parking area was turned into an outdoor dining area which allowed accommodating more people. Thus, the restaurant indeed provided a COVID safe environment to the customers.
As for the food, we had their specialty, i.e., their Kimchi Kalguksu, along with the delicious janchi guksu noodles. The Kimchi Kalguksu is my favorite and I just love to have it every time we have dinner from this place. It has a spicy taste that brings plenty of heat and spicy to your dinner. It sure is spicy but thankfully not to the extent that it would leave you in pain.
In comparison, my wife is a die-hard fan of their janchi guksu noodles, which is another fantastic dish, and a noodle lover should try it out. Apart from the quality of the dishes, another impressive thing about their food is the portion that each dish has. The medium portion has plenty of food that I believe can be eaten by three people.
All in all, pair up their responsive service with the quantity of quality Korean dishes and a COVID safe environment; You get an experience that is undoubtedly worthwhile at Hangari Kalguksu.
