Set on the stunning Nusa Dua beachfront, The Beach Grill serves up mouthwatering fare in a chic and luxurious venue accompanied by beautiful Indian Ocean views. We were lucky enough to experience an exclusive romantic beach set up for our private dinner in the gazebo on the night we dined, and highly recommend this memorable experience to newlyweds or couples on a romantic getaway. The secluded and stunning table setting is ideal for an ambient and quiet evening for two and we loved the personalized yet discreet service. Favourites to start the meal included the Burrata with Cherry tomatoes, basil, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic reduction, the "Zucchini Carpaccio" Baby zucchini, zucchini flower, almond flake, lime, mint and parmesan, the "Tuna Sambal Matah" Cold peppery tuna, sambal matah, coconut oil, lime and ginger flower, the classic Caesar Salad with Romaine lettuce, croutons, beef bacon, parmesan cheese and ceasar dressing, and the "Hydroponic Mixed Lettuce" with Cherry tomato, avocado, cucumber, arugula and citrus dressing. For main courses recommendations include the "Open Face Seafood Ravioli" with Fish, prawns, scallop, mushrooms, arugula and crustaceans foam, the "Rendang Daging" Sumatran style braised beef in spiced coconut milk and steamed rice, the "Kacang Merah, Kentang Berkuah" Red kidney beans, potato, balinese paste, crispy sambal radish, coconut milk and steamed rice, the "Ikan Bakar Menyat-Nyat" Grilled barramundi with spicy balinese paste, the "Bebek Betutu" Balinese style roasted duck in banana leaf, and sambal emba, and the Rack of Lamb with Carrot Puree, Braised Shallots and Thyme Jus. For the Tiramisu using Mascarpone cream, chocolate and coffee ice cream is an ideal way to end the meal.
