Fort Worth is the fifth-largest city in Texas and the 13th largest city in the United States. The city was established in 1849 as an army outpost. Fort Worth is the location of several universities and the headquarters of multiple corporations.

Fort Worth was the final settlement along the path of the Chisholm trail and therefore millions of cattle were traded here in the late 19th century.
