(ATLANTA, Ga.) With Memorial Day around the corner and the summer heat turning up, many people will be looking for ways to stay cool while enjoying the holiday weekend.
The City of Decatur announced the opening of pools around the area Monday. Residents will be able to take a splash beginning Saturday.
Each pool will have capacity restrictions and requires an admission fee of $5 for ages 1 and older. Residents are also able to purchase season family pool passes for $150 or an individual season pass for $45.
Due to the limited occupancy, attendees will be asked to exit pools and the facility after two hours to accommodate those that are waiting to enter the pool.
Currently, pool rentals for private events are suspended, according to city officials.
According to a news release from the city, parents are "strongly recommended" to wear masks while not in the pool. Pools will not operate food services but attendees can bring their own food and drinks.
