A popular Atlanta restaurant, Einstein's, may be closing soon. Einstein's has always been popular for its brunch menu. Here we review the brunch experience at Einstein's and look towards its future.

Einstein's is a highly ranked restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia. Located in the heart of Atlanta, it is a beautiful restaurant with a great decor. Some reviewers have even described the place as being classy with a hip feel.

The restaurant is located at 1077 Juniper St NE in Atlanta and is about 10 miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. It is in the Midtown neighborhood and located just a few feet away from Piedmont Park.

Even during COVID-19, this is the place to go to for brunch.

Just a few feet away from Piedmont Park, Einstein's has been serving up casual southern fare, creative drinks, and friendly service since 1991. Join us for a happy hour drink, people-watching on the patio, or take in our award-winning brunch. - Einstein's restaurant

Outdoor dining and brunch

Einstein's is known for its award-winning patio where patrons can dine under their 100-year-old pecan tree. It has been voted as the "Best Outdoor Dining Experience" so it is no wonder that it is a popular place for brunch.

Here is a Google review from a patron,

The establishment has the best outdoor atmosphere. It's perfectly shaded, but still open. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming. The food was perfect and it came out quickly. The only concern is, be sure to make reservations for Sunday brunch. This is a very popular establishment.

Einstein's has an extensive brunch menu that includes starters, salads, and sandwiches. There is also a brunch plate menu with offerings such as french toast, pancakes, shrimp and grits, waffles, and chilaquiles. Extras include different types of omelets and egg benedicts and to round off the brunch, there is dessert (poundcake or tiramisu).

The Future

Unfortunately, word came out in March of this year, that the owner of Einstein's had signed a contract to sell the property. Einstein's is actually scheduled to close by early June and so far its fate remains unclear. The question to be asked here is whether Einstein's will reopen in some form in this location or could it reopen in a different location?

Metrotainment Cafes Restaurant Group has signed a contract for the sale of the Einsteins and Joe's on Jupiter real estate in Midtown. At present, the intent is to continue serving our guests until early June. Metrotainment Cafes has no further information at this time.

A developer may be planning to build multi-story properties in the location.

Many residents of Atlanta will surely miss dining at Einstein's. It is hoped that there will be an agreement between Metrotainment and developers that will enable Einstein's to reopen at some point in the future.

If you are in the Atlanta area, be sure to check out Einstein's restaurant. Hopefully, you can get a chance to dine in before the closing. In the meantime, we look forward to Einstein's reopening.
