Tyler Terry apprehended in South CarolinaChester County, SC Sheriff's Office

Tyler Terry and his partner Adrienne Simpson allegedly killed two in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, and two in South Carolina.

The manhunt for suspects wanted in the shooting deaths of four people from Missouri to South Carolina ended rather anti-climactically on Monday morning when 26-year-old Tyler Terry was arrested without incident by Chester County, South Carolina deputies.

Terry did spark a shootout with law enforcement late last week, however – but managed to evade them after.

Terry and a 34-year-old female accomplice named Adrienne Simpson allegedly robbed and killed a man in Brentwood, Missouri, and a woman in University City. Both the Missouri crimes in the series happened around May 15 when officers used intel on the stolen vehicle to get an idea of two things: first, what Terry and Simpson were doing with it (buying drugs in St. Louis); and second, where were they going with it? The answer was Terry’s birthplace of Great Falls, South Carolina.

Terry is charged with the May 2 shooting of Thomas Durrell Hardin, along with two separate shootings on that date. The state alleges that Simpson at least drove the getaway vehicle during Hardin’s murder, along with other likely connections to these cases.

Simpson’s 33-year-old husband Eugene was reported missing on May 2. He was found, dead of gun shot wounds, in Great Falls, South Carolina on May 19. Simpson gave a full confession to her and Terry's involvement in the murder, allegedly saying it was she who pulled the trigger.
