There are numerous outstanding coffee shops for outdoor dining or takeout in NYC.

Indoor dining is closed at some restaurants, but New York City’s coffee shops have not closed their doors on people like me. I love having a cup of coffee every two to three hours. Whether I am completing my task or have to spend time with my family, I never forget getting myself a cup of coffee.

Some time ago, I was in New York City with my family and as usual, I could not continue doing my work without a cup of fresh coffee. This time, I decided to go outside to have the one and came across a couple of coffee shops. It was difficult for me to choose one option because the city has so many coffee houses.

Lenox Coffee Roaster

The coffee served at Lenox Coffee Roaster is one of the best in the country. This coffee shop roasts the beans out of Red Hook and sources the milk to enhance the taste. It was opened in 2011 and since then, Lenox Coffee Roaster has served so many people. The menu consists of different varieties of tea and coffee. If you are hungry or reach there during breakfast or lunchtime, then you can have a sandwich, a pastry or something similar. Let me tell you that the pastries sold at this shop are sourced from Colson Patisserie, the Good Batch, and a rotating roster of local New York bakeries.

Super Nice Coffee and Bakery by Danny Macaroons

It is another interesting and nice coffee shop in New York. The coffee at Super Nice is stellar, and you shouldn’t forget to try its drink specials. My favorites are the caramelized brown sugar and dulce de leche lattes. If you want more than a cup of coffee, I suggest you go with some of the desserts or baked goods served at the shop. One of the best parts is that the menu keeps changing, which means you will not get bored going there and will rarely be served the same things over and over again. I have seen people going to this shop for almond croissants, cinnamon rolls, guava-cheese danish, and chicken sandwiches. You may have seating problems, but this is not something that should keep you from going there. You may bring your cup of coffee to the nearby Marcus Garvey Park for a picnic.

Sweetleaf

Sweetleaf is where coffee roaster Sweetleaf is grown on a regular basis. The coffee shop serves different varieties of coffee. In addition to the standard lineup of quality espresso drinks, you will find iced coffee drinks. The saccharine concoctions are served at a relatively big and more famous coffee shop: the Rocket Fuel. This coffee shop remains open till 11:00 p.m. Anyone who is looking to spend time with their friends can go to 46th Avenue for the best experience.
