This form of activity increases heart rate and breathing rates which are important for managing feelings of anxiety.

4. Spend Time In Nature

I have been dealing with anxiety for a long time. I've tried many things, and one of the best ways that have helped me is to spend time in nature. There's something about being surrounded by trees, birds singing, or simply sitting on my porch watching the leaves fall from the tree that soothes my anxious mind.

It's almost like all those worries and fears are blown away by the wind as soon as you step foot outside of your home. Nature can be medicine for our minds. It just takes some experimenting to see what works best for you.

5. Get More Sleep

Sleep is a great way to cope with anxiety. When you are well-rested, your body and mind function better. You will be able to deal with the stress of everyday life more easily when you have had enough sleep. Many people find that they feel less anxious during the daytime if they get a good night’s sleep, but some need medication or therapy.  

What type of treatment works best for you depends on what kind of anxiety disorder you have and how severe it is. A lack of sleep can trigger or worsen anxiety symptoms such as depression, irritability, and panic attacks. So when you're struggling with your mental health, make sure to get enough rest.

6. Take a Break From Social Media

Many people are feeling anxious these days. One of the things that might be causing this is an over-reliance on social media platforms. The constant updates and notifications can cause a person to feel overwhelmed, which in turn causes anxiety. More and more people are using social media to connect with friends, family, and other acquaintances.
