(ATLANTA, Ga.) Breakfast is known to be the most important meal of the day and the city of Decatur is adding a new establishment to keep your stomachs full in the morning.

Effin Egg, a Florida-based dining place is making its way to Georgia and Decatur is the first city the fast-casual restaurant is calling home.

The restaurant will be located in Decatur’s Shops as the Artisan on Ponce De Leon Avenue. Owner Jeff Martin also owns the growing bakery franchise, SmallCakes Cupcakery.

The restaurant, true to its name, has menu items that boast its love for eggs and specializes in a range of breakfast sandwiches — from a classic bacon, egg and cheese to a chorizo scramble taco.

In addition to breakfast sandwiches, breakfast bowls are available including the Eff U Bowl with scrambled eggs, bacon and avocado and the Effin El Jefe bowl with scrambled eggs and shredded hash browns.

If you’re in the mood for lunch, the menu features a Big Papa Cheeseburger which is the restaurant’s take on the classic cheeseburger with an egg on top.

Martin was not available to give any public statements, however, based on his track record with the bakery, Effin Egg is projected to be successful. The existing franchise currently has 200 locations across the country.

So far, no concrete details have been announced as far as the opening date, but the restaurant will operate until 1:30 p.m. and additional locations in Georgia are expected to open — or hatch shortly after.
