(THE BRONX, N.Y.) The New York City Police Department reported two teenagers were victims in a daytime drive-by shooting in the Bronx on Saturday, according to NBC 4 New York.
The incident took place shortly after 4 p.m. near the Eastchester Gardens housing complex in Allerton.
Officials said the two teens were standing on the street when a gray vehicle neared them and opened fire from inside the car.
The NYPD says both teens were struck in their right legs. They were transported to Jacobi Medical Center for their injuries and are expected to survive, per NBC 4.
Police did not announce any arrests nor did they offer descriptions of a potential suspect. The investigation is still underway.
