Home to the University of Arizona, Tucson is one of the most beautiful cities in Arizona. The city is bustling with great restaurants to eat and is home to some of the most wonderful options for fine dining.

Here is the list of the top five fine-dine restaurants that this amazing city has to offer.

1. Vivace Restaurant

This Italian restaurant is located at 6440 N Campbell Ave and primarily serves northern Italian cuisine. They also feature an extensive list of wines and the servers are well educated on the food pairing with the wine that you order.

The menu is filled with mouth-watering dishes. I love the Shrimp and Crab Cakes which are served with asparagus aioli and arugula. Seafood Lasagnette is a delicacy that has mainly handmade pasta with both seafood & spinach fillings.

Vivace restaurant also succeeds in satisfying your sweet tooth with the plethora of choices offered here. Crème Brûlée, a dessert with baked vanilla bean custard with glazed brown sugar topping and fresh fruit is something that wins my heart every time. Fruit Napoleon, crisp almond wafers layered with lemon mousse, fresh fruit, and raspberry sauce, is an all-time prize winner.

2. Bob's Steak & Chop House

Located in Omni Tucson National Resort, Bob's Steak & Chop House is located at 2727 W Club Drive. This restaurant is not cheap, but it will not disappoint you and you will definitely get your money worth. The service is outstanding, and the staff is courteous, paired with a great ambiance.

Onion Rings may sound a little bit obvious but trust me, the taste is out of the world. Served with Honey Mustard Sauce, the Onion rings are so crisp and delicious, and probably the best one you would ever have.

The steak served here is moist and tender. I have tried the Prime Filet Mignon which I ordered with a glazed carrot and skillet fried potatoes and was topped with sautéed onions and peppercorn gravy. Key Lime Pie is my go-to dessert choice here.

3. Arizona Inn - The Main Dining Room

Arizona Inn - The Main Dining Room(John H.K - Yelp)

This place is located at 2200 E Elm Street and it features a great dining room in the historic Tucson Hotel. They also have great choices in vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free options. You can also stay at this inn and enjoy the great view.

I have tried corn and lobster bisque, ahi tuna, beef bourguignon, and duck breast here and all of them were mind-blowing. The wine list is also good here and the staff never shies away from helping you.

4. Flying V Bar & Grill

The Flying V Bar & Grill(Neil L. - Yelp)

Located in Loews Ventana Canyon Resort, Flying V Bar & Grill offers great American food with friendly staff and picturesque mountain views.

Their signature Flying V Burger is a mouth-watering dish and perfect for a warm summer evening. They had an idea of tableside guacamole which immediately became a hit. The Guacamole is custom-made by their “guacamoliere”. They also served cornbread with chili butter and you must give it a try to feel the taste of it. It was just out of this world. I also loved the steak and lobster special. Pick anything from the menu and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

5. Le Rendez-Vous

Le Rendez-Vous(Facebook)

I would like to start by mentioning that it is the best French restaurant in town. This is a highly sophisticated choice for a romantic date night and has been on the food scene for over 40 years.

I have tried the special Pecan Crusted Rack of Lamb and it is hands-down the best lamb dish I have ever tasted. It was cooked to perfection and truly amazing. Each entrée is served here with a side of thinly sliced potatoes that is first fried and afterward baked with butter and breadcrumbs giving it its heavenly taste and some steamed seasonal vegetables.

For dessert, go for Pithiviers that is a puff pastry with almond paste filling served with vanilla ice cream and you will not go wrong with this choice.
