The Chiang Mai Riverside is an ideal tranquil haven when staying in Chiang Mai. Located in a quiet and beautiful location you’ll be treated to modern suites, river views, and five star service throughout your stay. Our two bedroom suite was decadently spacious boasting two separate bedrooms, an inviting open plan lounge and dining area with a sleek kitchen perfect for traveling families. The highlight was the breezy balcony overlooking the refreshing pool and river and we loved the mouthwatering breakfasts served in our room each morning. Highlights off the breakfast menu included the "Congee Set" which came with Fresh Orange Juice, a selection of Toasted Grain Breads and Mini Croissants served with Organic Preserves and French Butter, Tea, Coffee, Cocoa and Fresh Milk. A savoury silky and comforting congee using organic grains of rice topped with ground pork, shiitake mushrooms, chopped green onions and a variety of Thai condiments. You can choose from an Onsen Egg or Poached Eggs. Soy Bean Milk with Condiments are also served. In addition you are given a side of salad tossed with Cherry Tomatoes topped with a light drizzle of healthy Japanese sesame dressing and freshly cut seasonal fruit. We were only a short drive to Chiang Mai’s famous Old Town and all the local markets and sights making exploring very accessible. The stylish and serene pool was our sanctuary every afternoon after a full day and we loved calling The Chiang Mai Riverside home during our time in the city. An optimal choice for both long term and short term stays and great for those who don’t want to be immersed amongst the crowds and markets while visiting the city.
