“Pogopalooza” is a week from Saturday.

Like Adolf Hitler, another sick excuse for a human fancied himself a painter. He dressed up like a clown and entertained children when he wasn’t busy brutally raping and killing young men around Chicago.

John Wayne Gacy – also known as “Pogo the Clown” – painted for years. Even before his first recorded kill in the ‘70s where he used info he gleaned from the mass murderer and torturer of Houston – Dean Corll – to make that job easier (the author has written about this for News Break).

Enter Ryan Graveface, owner of the Graveface Museum in Savannah. Ryan is a collector of the macabre, occult, UFO, and generally weird stuff which he displays at the museum.

He also owns more paintings by Pogo’s portrayer than anyone on Earth. Naturally, he wants to share some unseen parts of his collection with the outside world.

Thus, was born “Pogopalooza 2021”, happening May 22 at the museum.

What all will be happening at Pogopalooza? A lot of things related to the Killer Clown. From the website:

· “the unboxing of several never-seen-before Gacy paintings in front of your eyes

· James Sparks, one of Gacy’s art dealers, will be live in person for an interview and Q&A with you

· We’ll have a Pogo live in person to field questions about paintings

· the Dead City Collective will be live in person performing a full sideshow for you (glass eating, fire breathing, bed of nails etc)

· a few more fun things TBA”

The event is happening on Graveface’s 40th Birthday on the 22nd of May from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Tickets will gain you entrance to the museum as well, on both Saturday and Sunday. For more info and tickets head here.
