Freedom Farmers Market
The Freedom Farmers Market at the Carter Center has been bringing local, sustainably grown food to in-town Atlanta since 2014. Located just steps away from the Freedom Park Trail, the Freedom Farmers Market also offers shoppers and farmers a sense of independence to when shopping local. The market is open year-round and it offers a wide range of organic, local products from fresh produce to grass fed meats to handmade pasta. Each year from March to December, the market features live music, a kid’s tent, and local chefs who prepare hot foods.

Grant Park Farmers Market
The Grant Park Farmers Market is held in Grant Park at the Beacon Atlanta / Eventide Brewing. This popular market features free weekly celebrity chef demonstrations that feature the top chefs in the South. The Grant Park Farmers Market is the place to be on Sunday mornings. Morningside Farmers Market
The Morningside Farmers Market has the distinction of being the first and only Atlanta farmers market that requires all produce to be certified organic. This year-round market has been around since 1995. At this neighborhood farmers market, you’ll find fresh and local certified organic produce, meats, breads, foods, flowers, and artisan crafts. There are always chef demonstrations and local stands featuring soups, pastries, heirloom garlic, wild plums, cold-pressed juices, and more.

Ponce City Farmers Market
The Ponce City Farmers Market is located under “The Shed” on the Beltline entrance of Ponce City Market. It is located directly on the highly trafficked Beltline and is the only farmers market in Georgia primarily attended by pedestrians and cyclists. This seasonal farmers market hosts urban farmers, artisanal food markets, and pop-up chefs. As a producer-only market, all vendors sell only products that they grow or produce themselves using organic practices. You’ll find plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, pasture-raised eggs and meats, artisanal food vendors, and natural beauty care vendors.

Sweet Auburn Curb Market
The Municipal Market in Sweet Auburn, known locally as The Curb Market, was founded in 1918 as an open air market. It moved to its new building in 1924 and now houses thirty local businesses including produce, butchers, seafood, retail shops, a full service bakery, a cooking school, and popular eateries. Many of Atlanta’s most beloved restaurants got their start at the Curb Market.
