San Francisco is slowly going back to normality.

It is the same story for Napa and Santa Clara counties.

After the tumultuous months under the red tier, restaurants and cafè passed to the orange tier.

Finally, after months of closure, they will be attending up to 50% of their indoor capacity.

All the measures taken to ensure safety during the recent events are being progressively lifted.

Now almost regular access to public places will be allowed.

The Department of Public Health in San Francisco proposes to help the food and beverage industry in the development of their operations, to have an efficient service at the point of sale and handling.

Bars, wineries, and tasting rooms that are not serving the main course can open outside, following rules for outdoor dining.

While each business will have to take care of screening COVID-19 symptoms before sitting their clients and send home the customers feeling or looking sick.

After the programs of COVID-19 health and safety measures, all Californians will be allowed to move around public places.

Just as they did before the pandemic.

On the 25th of October of the past year, 900,000 Californians were diagnosed with COVID-19.

The authorities declared that:

"The recent events in California have not been easy, but we are now working calmly to ensure our services are available for our customers.".

Customers at different tables should be 6 feet apart.

Each restaurateur will have to keep the tables at least six feet apart, and on top of this, no client will be served if not sitting at the indicated table.

Restaurants can use restrictions for privacy indoors, but tables must still be six feet apart due to the restricted ventilation.

Only outdoor barriers set up before December 6 may continue to use barriers to place tables closer.

Clients and staff must wear masks.

No exemption was made.

On the San Francisco Gov website, the rules about masks are clear:

"All staff must wear face coverings while at work. Staff who interact with customers should wear a well-fitting mask. We strongly recommend N-95s.
Customers must also wear face coverings when they are not actively eating or drinking.
You must be able to provide face coverings for customers and anyone who works for you. This includes vendors and gig workers."

As we know, the whole mask enforcement has been several times on the news, mainly because of the citizens refusing to wear a mask while in public places such as shops and supermarkets.

Some of them ended up going viral on social media through the videos showing their tantrums.

During that time, things like this happened:

"If a public place is open, it is open for us to go in, and if I do not want to wear a mask, I will not wear it." said one of the protesters.
"I'm angry about the situation surrounding our health," said another customer. "I want to take off my mask and be free to decide if to wear it or not."

However, now, the state of California is taking steps to ensure the safety of its residents.

The restaurants and cafè are now being reopened.

San Francisco has been closed for months due to the health crisis.

The crisis resulted in the sickness of thousands and the quarantine of many people across Northern California.

The city is slowly getting back on track after the lockdown is coming to an end.

The city of San Francisco has released new guidelines for restaurants and cafés that want to reopen in the wake of the recent health scares.

Those guidelines are being updated day by day to ensure a safe and successful reopening.

San Francisco is a city that prides itself on its vibrant culture and unique heritage.

With a population of 883,255 people, the city has attracted residents from all walks of life.

While it is still suffering from the effects of the virus outbreak, various signs show that San Francisco is slowly getting back to normal.

The population of the city is now able to move freely as businesses reopen in the city.

In fact, some restaurants have already reopened.

That is the case for some restaurants on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco.

The patrons can now come back and enjoy an outdoor drink at places that had been closed since the pandemic outburst.

The department of health is working hard to ensure that customers can enjoy their favorite culinary spots again.
