One of the most asked questions I get is about things to do with kids in Fort Worth. From that a lot of people (especially when the weather is great) ask great outdoor spaces you can eat with kids. I have put together a list of some of our favorite places in or around Fort Worth that we bring our kiddos. These Family Favorites Restaurants in Fort Worth allow kids to run around and burn energy while parents can relax a bit and enjoy food and drinks.

Central Market: Live music. Yummy food. and a fun area. It can’t be beat!
Rogers Roundhouse: Another fun live music venue plus a fun area for kids to have a little room to play.
Press Cafe: I feel like this is one of OG places to bring kids. Secondly, The food is great and views of the river are outstanding. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy for families.
Curly’s: This list can’t be complete with out a sweet treat and Curlys has the best custard and outdoor area for kids,
Pizza
Zoli’s: We love the pizza and we love the cute little ice cream place [ Cowtipping Creamery ]connected to them. Plus, a HUGE outdoor area for kids makes it a win for everyone!
SmokeStack1948: Fun drink and yummy pizza all in one place. Most importantly, their outdoor space is awesome for kids.
BBQ
Woodshed: A staple in Fort Worth they have fun live music and the whole venue is indoor/outdoor with lots of space to play for kids!
Heim on the River: Some of our favorite BBQ with a huge area (patio + outdoor) for kids to have fun!
Railhead- Willow Park: Yummy BBQ and a place for kids to run around!
Waterside fun
Piatello: We love waterside and this Italian restaurant is yummy. Sit on the patio and let kids enjoy the outside play area.
Tricky Fish: We love eating here (yummy seafood) and then heading to the waterside out door area to run around and sometimes enjoy a sweet treat!
Something New
Berry Street Ice House: A fun new place in Fort Worth to try. Secondly, it is near TCU and lots of outdoor space and lots of yummy food!
In conclusion, I hope Fort Worth continue to adds more family friendly establishments for all to enjoy!
