American Shad Fishing in the American River from Shore - Simple Setup

Every year, in Sacramento, CA, at the beginning of spring, from the ocean, the American shad return to their spawning grounds. When they enter the Sacramento River, some go straight to other waters; however, a significant number make a right turn and enter the American River!!! Hello… they will be greeted by eager anglers.
