Just this past weekend, I had the opportunity to spend some time in an adorable high rise Airbnb in downtown Indianapolis with the intentions of getting some work done. While I did get most of the work done, I can’t help but share more on this gorgeous downtown Indianapolis Airbnb.
Airbnb Location
While I would love to give you the exact address of the Airbnb, I can’t. You’ll have to book the Airbnb to secure the exact location. However, what I will tell you is that this apartment is in the heart of downtown Indianapolis.
So, if you are looking to get out and explore downtown Indianapolis, this is definitely where you should consider staying.
What I have been loving about staying in Airbnb’s lately is that we’ve had the opportunity to stay in local neighborhoods and see the neighborhood through the eyes of a local.
The Apartment and What To Expect
As stated above, this is an apartment. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen that is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. Bar stools line the countertop if you would like to have your meals there, or even use that as a workspace.
The living room is beautiful and features a 65" smart TV.
Personal touches that stood out included having a scented candle on the living room table that you could light, coffee pods and creamer available for the Keurig, as well as hotel style bathroom toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.
Two Bedrooms
Each of the bedrooms were very clean with comfortable bedding along with extra pillows and such available. One bedroom features a king sized bed with a 40" smart TV and the other bedroom features a queen bed with a 40" smart TV.
Since I traveled to this location with my children, I appreciated how each room has an updated TV. Both of my boys were able to take their game systems and play their games while I worked. Additionally, there was a board game in the living room which was a nice touch. Although I did take my boys, they are self-sufficient. This apartment is not suitable for toddlers.
More on What to Expect
I appreciated the view overlooking downtown from each of the windows in the bedrooms, as well as in the kitchen and living room.
The apartment is decorated nicely with signs along the walls with the WiFi password and neat sayings such as the definition of travel in the bathroom and another sign that simply reads, “hi” in the living room (amongst other beautiful paintings and wall art).
More personal touches that I admired and appreciated were the makeup towels in the bathroom. While there were plenty white towels and washcloths, there were also a stack of black makeup towels for guests to wash off their makeup without ruining the white towels.
Above the makeup towels was a kind stating to please use the makeup towels to remove your makeup. I feel the idea is genius!
Additional Amenities
Aside from the personal touches explained previously, there are other amenities which include the following, but are not limited to the following:
- 600MBs WiFi
- Gym on location
- Iron
- Hair Dryer
- Hangers
- Dedicated Workspace
- Vacuum Cleaner
- Stackable Washer/Dryer
- Dishes and Silverware
- Dishwasher
- Microwave
Attractions and Restaurants Nearby
While this Airbnb does provide the utensils and such to prepare your meals, you may opt to explore downtown’s attractions and restaurants. This location is in walking distance to the Monument Circle, Circle Centre Mall, Convention center, Bankers Fieldhouse, and right around the corner to restaurants, Mass Avenue shops and entertainment - which is all very exciting.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the apartment is full of light, white walls and very clean. With this being a prime location, expect to pay anywhere between $100 and $200 per night. However, it’s important to know that other locations are a lot less than you may think. There’s usually something for everyone’s budget.
Lastly, in terms of parking at this particular downtown location, some street parking may be available, it’s best to plan to stay in the parking garage where your vehicle may be a bit safer.
