(OMAHA, Neb.) The Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium's new stingray exhibit is ready to host visitors this Friday, KETV Omaha reported.

The interactive exhibit dubbed "Stingray Beach" will give zoo visitors an opportunity to get up close and personal in a shallow 80-foot long pool.

Visitors will be allowed to touch and feed the exhibit's 31 stingrays, with 8 more born at the zoo joining the group soon.

Interpreters will be close by to answer any questions visitors have on cownose, Southern and Atlantic stingrays, according to the Henry Doorly Zoo.

After its Friday debut, the exhibit which is located up the hill from the zoo's railroad depot will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
