The name of the makeup artist is Samuel Rauda who was injured due to an unspecified accident. A social media page organized by his family broke the news. The name of this page is “GoFundMe.” He had undergone major surgery on March 14 and is said to have a long road to recovery in front of him.

After knowing that Samuel Rauda has undergone surgery, Kylie Jenner quickly took to her social media account to ask fans to donate something for his speedy recovery. She wrote:
"Anyone who knows Samuel can say he is the most loving and kind person you could ever meet! He has a big heart and doesn’t hesitate to help someone in need. When you are having a rough day, he certainly knows how to make you laugh and turn that frown upside down." The “GoFundMe” page reads "At this moment, he needs our support and prayers more than ever."
In an Instagram Story, 23-year-old Kylie Jenner asked her more than 220 million followers to instantly donate to the fundraising campaign. She shared Samuel Rauda’s black-and-white photo and a message for her fans, requesting them to pray for him and donate because he needs money for his recovery.
"May God watch over you and protect you @makeupbysamuel," the message is said to have read. "Everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend and swipe up to visit his family's GoFundMe." Kylie Jenner’s message also included a link to Samuel Rauda’s “GoFundMe” page. So far, $97,593 has been raised through this campaign.

Despite the people who have donated something, a large number of fans are not happy with Kylie Jenner’s move. They think that her request for donations does not sit well because the reality TV star and cosmetics tycoon is super-rich. Her net worth is $900 million, according to media outlets.
On the other hand, the organizer of the page, Johanna Portillo, thanked Kylie Jenner for her decision of supporting and favoring them. Johanna says that Rauda is receiving so much love, support, and affection from friends, relatives, and strangers simultaneously.
