Although this wasn’t my first time here, I think this trip was the longest I’ve stayed in Singapore so we got to really enjoy this trip and see so much more than the latter.

I’ve managed to round up a few of my favourite destinations down below, and what I loved about each so I think it would be best if  you list these down and save it for when you want to go to Singapore, for the best shopping malls, restaurants, and picturesque views.

First up on my list we have….

Singapore’s Lights and Architecture was not one to be missed. It boasted of such bold art and outstanding design that it drew people all over the world, to come and experience it.

I was extremely in awe at all the buildings we passed by. It was as if each skyscraper was made by an artist who completely disregarded structural engineering– but didn’t. You’ll find plants cascading from every floor, and architectural ideas were overflowing from left to right, with thoughts of how we wished buildings in the Philippines could be as creative as these. Their fireworks and lighshows are also one to watch out (and fly in) for. One of the main places where you’ll enjoy both is  at the Gardens by the Bay. We went just in time for the Christmas Village and Wonderland during the holidays. It’s an instagram-haven!

For first-timers, these places are perfect to visit. There are so many interesting places still that I haven’t been to but this definitely completed my Singapore experience for the mean time.

From the Philippines, Flights to Singapore can be very affordable. We booked our ticket a month in advance and got it for about 60-90 USD. Booking an airbnb will also help cut down your expenses and taking an Uber for larger groups. Almost everything in Singapore has a price, so the food, entrance fees to tourist spots and the shopping will cost more than the flight definitely. All in all though, it’s a must-see and a great place for a unique cultural, family-friendly and entertainment-filled experience. We also got the chance to visit Malaysia– which is an hour drive away only by the way to visit Legoland and to just experience being in another country from another country. I’ll be writing more about it so stay tuned!
