New York Times Bestselling Author and Eisner-Winning Comics Writer Brad Meltzer Makes Clubhouse Debut

Clubhouse, the audio-only social media platform that has become all the rage in the pandemic era, will host a notable first-time guest on March 4 from 3–4 Pacific: Perennial New York Times bestselling author Brad Meltzer. Writer-producer Joel Eisenberg will moderate the forum, which will be part interview and part interactive Q&A with the program’s listeners. Meltzer’s session will focus on fellow writers successfully garnering the attention of influencers and buyers.

Meltzer is the multi-time #1 New York Times bestselling author of Heroes for My Son, Heroes for My Daughter, a dozen suspense novels such as The Escape Artist, and nonfiction books like The Lincoln Conspiracy. He is also the co-creator of host of the History Channel television shows Brad Meltzer’s Decoded and Brad Meltzer’s Lost History, the latter which he used to famously in 2016 to help find the missing 9/11 flag. His latest children’s books include a collaboration with Caldecott Medal-winning Dan Santat (Beekle) entitled A New Day, which marks the author’s storybook debut and will be released March 2, and the 23rd entry in his Ordinary People Change the World series illustrated by Christopher Eliopoulos, I Am Frida Kahlo, on March 9. Both books are published by Dial Books for Young Readers.

In November 2019, PBS Kids launched Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum, a TV show based on the Ordinary People Change the World books.

Perhaps most popularly to so-called geek culture, Meltzer won a 2008 Eisner Award, the highest honor for the comic book industry, for writing the acclaimed story “Walls” for “Justice League of America” Volume 2, #11.

Meltzer has since written comics with nearly every major superhero character for DC and Marvel, including Spider-Man.
