Though COVID-19 hit various sectors like health, job, industry but the economy was one of the worst-hit sectors. A lot of people had to lose their job because of the COVID-19 lockdown that began in the month on March 2020.

However, it going to require a lot of time and patience for the countries to gain a stable economical structure. Deflation also occurred in a few countries. The main reason behind the downfall of the economy was the lockdown. Everything except for essentials were shut down in the country for almost 3 to 4 months.

During those times, businesses did not earn their profits due to which some of them had to shut down permanently. So many people became jobless. Demands were increasing but resources were very limited. Therefore, these were a few basic criteria that affected the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic era.
