(WASHINGTON) At least seven people from North Carolina were arrested at Capitol Hill on Wednesday, according to WXII12.
The riot through Capitol Hill led to 4 deaths, multiple officers injured and over 60 arrests were made.
A report from the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department issued Thursday morning showed those who were arrested and processed were accused of curfew violations, riot-related burglary and other riot-related events.
Individuals from North Carolina who charged include:
- Jere Brower, 45
- Earl Glosser, 40
- Lance Grames, 42
- Tim Scarboro, 33
- James Smawley, 27
- Jay Thaxton, 46
- Michael Jones, 23
All seven were charged with curfew violations. Brower, Glosser and Grames were charged with unlawful entry.
In a tweet, North Carolina Governor Ralph Northam said President Donald Trump should be removed from office because of his actions.
