(CLEVELAND) The Cleveland Browns closed their facilities on Wednesday after a player and a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said a coach tested positive and that the player who tested positive is part of the practice squad, according to ABC 5.

The Browns' facility has been closed while contract tracing is being conducted to identify any high-risk close contacts.

The team placed safeties Andrew Sendejo and Karl Joseph and tight end Harrison Bryant on the reserve/COVID-19 list joining B.J. Goodson, Jacob Phillips, Jarvis Landry, Rashard Higgins, Donovan Peoples-Jones and KhaDarel Hodge already on the list.

Stefanski said that Phillips, Landry, Higgins, Peoples-Jones and Hodge remain on track to be removed from the list on Thursday.

The Browns said the team will continue to work remotely and follow the league's COVID-19 protocols.
