2020 has arguably been a tough year for everyone, but with 2021 only days away it's high time to celebrate the New Year with fun cocktail ideas whether you're celebrating alone, over Zoom or with your immediate family.
These five recipes will have you happily saying "good riddance" to this year.
New Year’s Eve Cranberry Sparklers:
- Directions:
- To make, puree 2 cups of fresh or frozen cranberries, 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of vodka into a blender until smooth. Strain and chill until cold, or up to 1 week.
- Fill a flute with 3 tablespoons cranberry-vodka mixture and about 1/2 cup bubbly per glass.
- For the ombre effect, tilt flute and gently pour Champagne down one side into glass. Serve immediately.
Bellini Champagne Cocktail:
- Directions:
- Combine 2 ounce of White Peach Puree puree, 1/2 ounce of peach liqueur and 1/4 ounce of lemon juice into your cocktail shaker.
- Briefly shake with ice.
- Strain into a champagne flute.
- Top with Prosecco.
Sparkling Margarita:
- Directions:
- Salt the rim of the cocktail glass.
- Combine 1 & 1/2 cups lime juice, 1 cup silver tequila and 1 cup of orange liqueur to a pitcher.
- Pour mixture into glass, add ice and 25 ounces of sparkling wine to top drink.
- Add lime for garnish.
Cold Brew Soda:
- Directions:
- Mix 1.5 parts Kahlúa, 1.5 parts of your favorite cold brew coffee blend, 3.5 parts soda and ice to a glass
- Add lemon for garnish
Ratterwick Punch Cocktail:
- Directions:
- Combine 16 ounces of gin, 4 ounces of Aperol, 6 ounces of simple syrup, 6 ounces of lemon juice, 6 ounces of grapefruit juice with ice.
- Top with 6 ounces of sparklng wiine
- Serve with grapefruit or lemon for garnish
