Christmas is definitely going to look different for a lot of families this year and although choir choruses, community gatherings and Christmas recitals have been far and few between in 2020 — our favorite artists have released new holiday albums to help give a fresh sound to celebrations this year.
1. Dolly Parton - "A Holly Dolly Christmas"
Country Legend Dolly Parton released her first Christmas album in 30 years and her fans are here for it! The album, which already topped "Official Albums Chart Top 40," features collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Michael Bublé.
2. Pentatonix - "We Need A Little Christmas"
Texas' a cappella group Pentatonix gifted fans their new album, "We Need A Little Christmas." Voices of the three-time Grammy Award-winning quintet mesh magically as they sing their versions of "Amazing Grace (Our Chains Are Gone)" and "Jingle Bell Pop."
3. Goo Goo Dolls - "It's Christmas All Over"
American rock band Goo Goo Dolls dropped their first-ever Christmas record featuring two new songs and their versions of Christmas classics, "Let It Snow" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."
4. Black Violin - "Give Thanks"
Black Violin's classically trained duo — violist and violinist Wil Baptiste and Kev Marcus continue to fuse hip-hop beats with classical sounds in their debut Christmas album, "Give Thanks."
"Give Thanks employs playful storytelling, whimsical strings, and hard-hitting rhythms to highlight the unifying pillars of the holiday season: Giving back to others and being wholeheartedly thankful," Black Violin says of the full-length.
5. Meghan Trainor - "A Very Trainor Christmas"
"All About That Bass" star Meghan Trainor is all about Christmas this year with "A Very Trainor Christmas." Aside from Trainor's original holiday songs, the record features renditions of Wham!'s "Last Christmas" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer."
