(SEATTLE) An unidentified woman was stabbed to death in Seattle's Belltown neighborhood in the early hours of Monday morning, with a police remaining on-scene into the afternoon.
Police gave few details about the incident but said they are searching for a suspect known to officers, according to FOX 13. A popular nightlife district, Belltown is adjacent to Seattle's busy downtown district.
According to a Seattle Fire official quoted by FOX, crews arrived at the scene and found a woman who had died. The outlet did not identify the woman.
Authorities remained at the scene into the afternoon Monday.
