(DETROIT) A Michigan judge on Thursday denied the Trump campaign’s lawsuit seeking to halt the counting of the state’s absentee ballots, according to The Hill.

On Wednesday, the Trump campaign asked the court to stop counting of ballots until the secretary of state issued a directive to allow election inspectors to be present during the vote counting process.

Court of Claims Judge Cynthia Stephens said that the office of Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson was not involved in the local counting process.

Stephens also said that the majority of the vote counting had been completed at the time the complaint was filed on Wednesday.

The campaign has also filed similar suits in Pennsylvania and Georgia. The Associated Press has already called the state of Michigan for Biden.
