Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District is considering a return to all-virtual learning by Nov. 16, writes Steven Hoffman for the Chester County Press.

Superintendent John Sanville notified the district community about the planned changes in a letter after four students who were exposed outside of school tested positive last week. The two students are at Charles F. Patton Middle School, while the other two attend the high school.

“Multiple models and projections show increases in incidents for Chester County that — should they be accurate – will force us to return to an all-virtual format,” wrote Sanville. “Given the projections and guidance from the Chester County Health Department – I encourage everyone to prepare for the likelihood of returning to an all-virtual format on Nov. 16.”
