This weekend, a maximum of 250 guests will attend the In My Elements music festival hosted by BangOn! NYC and Tested Contained Retreats (an offshoot of their wildly popular Elements Festival usulally held over Memorial Day) and the second of its kind.
Yes, you read that right, music festivals are being held, safely and responsibly during the pandemic. Months of planning and endless effort has been poured into this event to ensure it not only is a great (and sorely needed) live music event, but that it is impeccably safe during the pandemic.

After a successful first “In My Elements” retreat we are excited to announce the “In My Elements” fall edition featuring 2-part covid testing and active safety measures. On September 25th - 27th we gather to reconnect and vibe! This edition “In My Elements” will follow the same 2-part Covid testing model and we are happy to share that we had ZERO reported cases of IME attendees testing positive after the summer retreat!
Part 1: The week leading up to the retreat, guests will take a test at one of our certified testing locations in multiple cities. Results will be reported priot to the retreat. At home mail-in tests are available as an add-on to your ticket for an additional fee.
Part 2: When guests arrive on site, their cars will be guided into distanced parking spaces where they will take an active COVID-19 rapid test. Results will be received in about 30 minutes and guests will be directed into the event grounds.
In addition to the testing protocols lodging or camping arrangements have been arranged to maximize social distancing needs and keep everyone safe. All activities are outdoors and open air with sanitation crews making sure that all facilities are properly and constantly disinfected.
Of course it wouldn't be Elements without the Desert Hearts crew representing - thanks to Lee Reynolds and Porky, with other sets from Wax Motif, Soul Clap, Sacha Robotti and many more! True to form, and living up to past events, the wholistic and immersive experience the Elements community has grown to love and expect will be front and center.
We're keeping our fingers crossed that Tested Contained Retreats and BangOn! NYC have provided the blueprint for other pandemic-safe events in areas with low case numbers, and that this weekend's event, even if just for a few days, gives those lucky 250 guests a weekend of fun, music and normalcy whilst dancing in the forest.
