In Houston, Texas, grocery stores have started preparing for the 2 tropical storms expected to hit the Gulf--Hurrican Marco and Hurricane Laura. H-E-B and Kroger, so far, have announced their purchasing limits for specific products. If you plan to stock up over the weekend, here are the stores' purchasing limit plans:

KROGER

-Will be limiting water packages to 2 per customer.

"We are currently limiting purchases of bottled water to (2) per customer. At this time we have no other product limits in place" (Click2Houston).

LOWE'S

According to Lowe's Emergency Center as quoted by Click2Houston, they are keeping a close eye on both storms, Marco and Laura. The company will be sending truckloads of supplies such as generators, "bottled water, gas cans, storage totes, sand and wet-dry vacs stores in areas that could be impacted." Lowe's says that "we have sent more than 200 trucks of supplies and will continue expediting over the days to come. There are no current limits on storm prep products in store."

H-E-B

Representatives stated that the grocery chain is working to "make sure its stores had the items they need to meet an increased demand." On Saturday, they announced limits on many items:

-brisket(2)

-disinfecting and antibacterial sprays (2)

-disinfecting and antibacterial wipes (2)

-hydrogen peroxide (2)
